The mission of The New Choral Music Society is to advocate for the composition, performance, and promotion of new choral music by connecting choral composers with educational resources, professional opportunities, and other members of the choral community.

Instead of making this guide so cold and distant, I want it to be like a conversation about how exciting it is to create opportunities for other artists. Thanks to Chorus Austin Young Composer Competition, I met amazing artists, trusted in my abilities as a composer, and connected further. I am sure winning that competition back in 2017 is a big part of why the New Choral Music Society exists today.
